Take a Break

Are you packing up your things and starting to get ready for your movers? You’re never going to get everything done that you need to if you’re stressed. If your mind is somewhere else or you’re nervous, then you’re more likely to drop or misplace something. Relax! Don’t be afraid to rest when you need to. A five or 10 minute break in your moving preparations could make all the difference in your productivity. You’ll get a lot more done when you’re more relaxed.

Treat Your Back

Have you ever had a massage? If so, then you know how relaxing it can be. It may sound ridiculous to ask your friend or family member to give you a quick rub down, but it can do wonders for your stress level! The pressure will instantly relax you and give your back the break that it probably needs after lugging all those boxes around your home. Take a few minutes to have someone rub your shoulders or put some pressure on your upper back and you’ll instantly see a difference in how you feel!

Eat Something

When was the last time you had a meal, or even a snack? With all the preparations and events that go along with moving day, it’s not uncommon for people to forget to eat. However, you’ll need those nutrients from a healthy meal in your body to be productive! If you don’t have time for a full meal, make sure you stop every hour or two and have a snack packed with protein and healthy carbohydrates. You’ll need it for all the physical activity you’re doing!
