Located in the heart of New York City, the Institute of Culinary Education is an excellent school which was founded in 1975. It offers a fast, intensive culinary education with a concentration on adults at least 20 years old. All students need to have completed at least two years of college or have two years of work experience to be accepted for enrollment at the college. The Institute’s gender ratio today is around 50/50, with the average student age being around 24-28. The great staff and facilities make it an excellent place to take your culinary skills to the next level. Students from all over the world have found it to be a great place to study.
Texas Culinary Academy
The Texas Culinary Academy has a 73,000 square foot facility. It is a well-respected schools that has trained And raised up successful students over the passed 15 or so years. Recently the school opened up a new facility which includes top-notch classrooms, kitchens, a retail store, restaurant, and a demonstration section of the building that was modeled after Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. All in all this is a great school in the beautiful city of Austin, Texas where there are always exciting things happening, from music, to art, and, of course, restaurants.
Culinary Institute at Hyde Park NY
Considered one of the best culinary schools in the entire country, the Culinary Institute at Hyde Park NY offers degrees in Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry Arts. The Culinary Institute of America (main campus at Hyde Park) is the oldest culinary school in the United States and is a degree-granting institution that is dedicated exclusively to culinary and baking and pastry arts. The school is a gem with a great location in New York City.
