Great Destinations for Vacations and Moves

The summertime is when people tend to vacation the most, take in the outdoors, and enjoy themselves more freely and frequently. Students are out of school and that usually adds to the energy of largely every major city in the U.S. There are tons of things going on every summer, all over the country. From concert tours to festivals and new films that are coming out, summer is a season that people look forward to a great deal. Summer is a time when people make plans to get in shape, hit the beach, or maybe even make a long distance move. Check out a list of some of the best and most pleasant cities to spend the summer in the U.S, or perhaps even move to.

Chicago

Chicago is a great city during the summer, one that offers a lot of fun by foot, too. During the summer, the Windy City is a great place to take a stroll and even take your lunch to Millennium Park. There are also things like water cruises for you to enjoy the excellent sites and rich architecture of the city. Make sure you set some time aside to enjoy a deep dish pizza and/or a delectable Chicago style hot dog. You may love it so much you’ll consider a move.

New York

When it comes to New York City, there is really no denying its energy and appeal. The Big Apple has long been a place that people flock to at all times of the year. The summer, specifically, is a time when there is a ton going on all around. As a result of its energy, the city has been deemed “the city that never sleeps.” From concerts to Broadway shows and historic places like The Village and Central Park, it is nearly impossible to run out of things to do in New York City.

Las Vegas

Las Vegas, also known as Sin City, has for many years been one of the most popular destinations in all of America. The popularity of the city is due to its excellent casinos, hotels, concert halls, and some of the best hotels in the world. The Strip has tons of places to eat, people watch, and stop in for a drink with friends. Simply put, heading to Las Vegas is an excellent choice.

Charleston

If you’re looking for a place with comfortable weather, great parks, rich architecture, and ample places for delicious food, Charleston South Carolina is a wonderful city to consider. It’s the perfect place for a summer vacation for a variety of reasons. There are popular attractions like pub tours and the Greek Festival. Plenty of things are always going on in the city that are fun for the whole family.
