Summer Fun in Raleigh

With more than 150 North Carolina parks, gardens, greenways, hunting and camp grounds you are bound to find something that the whole family can get into. Everything from fishing, camping, hiking, horse back riding and biking are available and for the more traditional sportsman there are dozens of golf courses, tennis courts and swimming pools.

Children also have a wide variety of things to do in safe, family-friendly environments. You will find all of the usual team sports like little league baseball, pewee league football, and soccer are all available. Cub Scout troops, explorer camps, and digital camps are also available if you’re looking for more educational activities.

A lot of these activities have been known to bring families together, especially in today’s world. With all of the technology to distract us from the world around us it may be time to finally unplug from the grid and get back to the natural world.
