Birdies for the Brave is a charitable organization sponsored by the PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. American Van Lines moving company (AVL) is a proud supporter of American troops and contributions to Birdies for the Brave is the perfect way to show solidarity with the admirable initiatives of this organization.
Started by TOUR player Phil Mickelson and his wife Amy, Birdies for the Brave is dedicated to support the brave soldiers of the U.S. Military and their families. The bravery of our troops is in the best interest of the American people, but can work against them at the same time. Their strength and courage often overshadow the discouragement, loneliness and dismay they sometimes feel, which too often blinds the public to the meaning of their sacrifices.
Birdies for the Brave brings joy and hope to the lives of American soldiers in so many ways. Letter writing campaigns, sending care packages to soldiers abroad and bringing public awareness to their needs, provides American troops with much needed encouragement as they fight to secure American rights and freedoms.
Anthony DiSorbo, owner of the American Van Lines Fort Lauderdale moving company, stands behind the message of hope and generosity Birdies for the Brave represents. We are forever indebted to our troops and their families who so selflessly give their lives for the greater good.
