Our grandparents were relocating from the family house where they had lived for many years to a retirement community with bigger apartments. Our grandparents had a huge dining room furniture set, a large china cabinet, two-bedroom furniture sets, and an extremely heavy recliner. Before we delivered furniture, we measured all of the new rooms, but getting all of the furniture to the right places involved some organization.

This included moving our reception desks, consultation rooms furniture, filing cabinets, and many office workstations. We needed the furniture to be placed right because other contractors were working on other parts of the new place. The movers used the layout plan that we gave them and they organized the big furniture accordingly. I liked the fact that we were able to give instructions without constantly interrupting them.

Movers paid attention to our instructions and moved all of the bulky furniture with care. Now, after we arranged everything, our grandparents knew how to fit their furniture in their new apartment.

The process of moving our printing company included moving a number of bulky machines from one industrial building to another. The machinery was heavy and the new building had a different structure compared to our old one. We needed to place all of the machines in such a way that would make it possible for the employees to continue working right away after we moved there. Movers made sure that they understood where the major pieces of equipment should be placed and moved the largest items in an orderly way.

My parents were moving from their longtime family home into a smaller house closer to us. They had several heavy wooden cabinets, a formal dining set, large bedroom furniture, and a substantial living room suite. I was worried that downsizing would make the move emotionally and physically exhausting for them.

Outstanding Service from DJ! We had a wonderful experience with DJ, our moving truck driver, who handled our move from Texas to Idaho. From the very beginning, DJ was professional, hardworking, and an excellent communicator. He took great care in packing and protecting our belongings and kept us informed every step of the way. Moving across the country can be stressful, but DJ made the entire process so much easier. He was dependable, organized, and clearly took pride in doing his job well. Knowing our belongings were in such capable hands gave us tremendous peace of mind. We truly appreciate DJ's hard work, dedication, and attention to detail. He went above and beyond, and we couldn't have asked for a better driver to handle our move. Thank you, DJ, for a job well done! We would highly recommend him!

My experience with American Van Lines was satisfactory. When it came to transporting my musical equipment I was particularly concerned about keeping my acoustic guitar and keyboard safe during the move because both required careful handling. The loading team handled the equipment attentively and I appreciated their polite approach throughout the process. When my instruments arrived they were in the condition I expected which was a relief. I was also pleased that the final cost matched the estimate I had received initially. Overall the experience was positive and the careful handling of my belongings was the most reassuring part of the move.

We need to hire American Van Lines to handle my relocation, and I am incredibly impressed with the level of care they provided. My absolute biggest worry was the safety of my remote work equipment during transit. The moving crew turned out to be true professionals, individually wrapping each of my computer monitors with heavy padding and carefully securing the delicate adjustment levers on my ergonomic office chair. Thanks to their attention to detail, my most valuable work assets arrived in perfect working order. The entire team worked quickly, stayed courteous, and didn't leave a single scratch on any of my belongings. Best of all, the final payment lined up exactly with their initial quote, with zero surprise fees, so I would recommend them to make their move easy.

We need to relocate my backyard setup and the team of International Van Lines did a solid job. The biggest challenge of this move was ensuring that a dozen large ceramic pots holding my wife’s prized plants wouldn't crack while on the road. The crew took care of the largest planters first securing them tightly with specialized straps so they wouldn't shift an inch during transit. They also packed the smaller stone pots into heavy duty boxes to prevent them from rolling around in the truck. Every single fragile item arrived at our new home completely intact. I was genuinely impressed by the loaders' careful approach and focus on safety. To top it off the final invoice matched the initial estimate so I am happy from their service and recommend to others.

Moving across the state is always a hassle but we hired American Van Lines and everything went smoothly. The crew provided an upfront accurate quote which included all charges and fees and when they came to pick up our things they didn't waste any time. They arrived right on time to deliver the furniture and all of our items were packed without a single scratch or missing item. It was a simple and reliable experience and I would recommend their services to someone looking into a local or long distance move.

I used American Van Lines last month to pack up my workshop and our home furniture. Moving everything over state lines is always a headache but the crew they sent over made it pretty painless. The price they gave me over the phone didn't change at delivery, which was a massive relief because I was expecting hidden fees. The guys wrapped my tools and garage gear up perfectly so nothing broke on the highway, and they were really nice about placing the heavy stuff exactly where my wife wanted it.The driver also gave us a text update during the haul, so we knew when they'd hit the driveway. Good company, and I'd use them again.

Moving all of my home furniture and fragile work-from-home office equipment across the country felt very scary and stressful. However the moving company American Van Lines took perfect care of all my things while they were moving them. First of all an agent who booked my order provided me with a comprehensive flat-rate binding estimate. During the whole relocation process the quote remained the same not a penny was hidden. Secondly a team of packers was extremely professional and skilled. They packed my delicate electronics equipment including two monitors a pc tower and an adjustable standing desk with exceptional precision and secured them in special boxes. They wrapped our heavy furniture and fragile glass items in wrapping paper and thick blankets so that nothing would break during the move. Finally I received regular updates from the driver about the location of the truck. All of my things arrived at the new place perfectly safe and exactly on time. I had a wonderful experience and I will definitely tell my friends and family to use american van lines.

Relocating our entire household, including our delicate kitchenware, specialty appliances, and heavy outdoor patio gear, involved numerous worries; however, American Van Lines Company took care of everything. Our experience with this particular enterprise has exceeded our expectations, starting with our initial phone call when our booking agent gave us an exact cost with no hidden fees and provided us with a binding estimate, which remained the same upon final payment. The crew that packed our belongings was punctual and handled everything with care. They properly secured our glass kitchenware, high-end espresso maker, and heavy outdoor grill in bubble wrap and shrink film. We were also kept informed about the location of the truck with the belongings across state, and everything arrived in excellent condition without a single mark. I certainly had a great experience and would recommend this company to anyone searching for a premium and reliable moving service.

Coordinating a monumental long-distance move after decades in one's home is an intimidating prospect but American Van Lines took great pains in ensuring that nothing went wrong. From our initial conversation their service coordinator gave us an honest estimate of the cost of the services which eased any worries about additional charges upon delivery of the items. The movers themselves were punctual and courteous taking great care in wrapping our heirloom china and large framed mirrors in thick padding. He and his team worked patiently and efficiently in packing the heavy garage tool chests and large lawn equipment boxes. They kept us posted by text message about their progress along the multi-state route and the things were all there undamaged, when they arrived at our new home. I only wish that I had availed of their services earlier in my home-buying activities, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering a long-distance move.

We used American Van Lines last month for a big cross-country move and they made a stressful situation incredibly easy. The price layout they gave us during our first phone call was very transparent and I was so relieved that they stuck to that exact number at delivery with no weird fees added at the end. The packing team arrived right on schedule on loading day and brought plenty of heavy protective padding and wrap. They took exceptional care of our bulkier household items like our dining table and bedroom sets and they were incredibly careful with our fragile kitchen glassware and family dishes so nothing would break on the highway. The driver checked in with us while traveling to give us peace of mind about the arrival timeline. All of our things arrived completely safe, clean and without any damage. I am really happy with their hard work and would absolutely recommend them.

I have recently had to move out of my apartment and relocate across the country for a new job and I have to say that my experience with American van lines was exceptional. They gave me a price over the phone that was exactly what I ended up paying when I got my stuff delivered. They sent a helpful crew early on the day of pickup that expertly loaded my heavy bedroom furniture and big flat screen TV with protective packing materials so that my goods would arrive undamaged over the long haul. Plus the dispatchers sent me texts while en route. Outstanding service and I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know who is moving.

Moving our family of 4 (ages 4, 7, 9 and 15) was a headache but American Van Lines took all the hassle out of the process. The company gave us a locked, guaranteed price during our very first call. This meant there were no unexpected extra fees when they delivered our items to our new state. The packing team turned up on time and worked at a blinding pace. They took great care with our valuables and delicates, wrapping up my daughter's entire nursery set, including the furniture, several flat-screen TVs and my son's disassembled backyard play set in thick blankets and plastic shrink wrap. The drivers kept us posted en route and arrived at our new suburban home with not a wrinkle on any of the furniture. The workers even helped put the heaviest boxes in the rooms of our choice. I can't speak highly enough about this company and would recommend them to any family considering a relocation.

Relocation after living more than twenty years in one house is associated with significant stress but American Van Lines have managed to help with it. The company workers were very professional and helpful while they took out the last few items from the home. When we first called them, they gave us an honest, clear price. They kept their promise and charged us that exact same amount when they delivered our items. They packed all of our items perfectly so nothing would break, even our fragile glasses, mirrors, special family items and a heavy piano. The team arrived at the house punctually on the day of removal and handled all items with care. They kept in touch with us while the van was heading to the state and provided updates on the road so we could track the progress. Finally I am happy that the relocation company did an excellent job and will recommend AVL to friends and family in the future.

Moving across the country on a tight schedule is not something anyone would want to do but with American Van Lines, it was a complete breeze. We spoke with one of their representatives, told them what we needed, and they gave us a quote that was ironclad and never changed from the first conversation till the very end, when everything was delivered. They showed up early on the day of the move, and their packing crew was top-notch. The movers took great care of all our items, including fragile kitchen dishes, paintings, and the heavy dining table. They wrapped everything in thick blankets and put them in special boxes. If you're looking to hire a reliable and premium moving company, I cannot recommend AVL highly enough.

In comparison with dozens of other long-distance movers who provided us with confusing and outrageous price estimates, we are thrilled that we have chosen American Van Lines for our relocation. The company's coordinator has got a binding flat-rate estimation by touring our place room by the phone to get an inventory idea. Moreover, when the three-moving crew arrived, they wasted no time and worked like a well-oiled machine. They handled our TV sets and crystal-front cabinets with the skill and precision of true professionals experienced in hauling heavy and oversized items. Moreover, they took the time to lay floor runners on our hardwood floors and carefully wrapped and padded all our belongings. The customer service team called or messaged a few times a week to let us know where the moving truck was. We felt safe and happy because the company kept talking to us during the move. The movers arrived precisely on time and brought all the heavy boxes into the specific rooms we asked them to. These pros actually took the time to rebuild the bed frame of our master bedroom! If you want to have value for your hard-earned money and treat loved ones, choose AVL!

Moving out of a downtown high-rise apartment with a limited building access and strict freight elevator schedule is not an easy task but the professional team from American Van Lines completed the job to my entire satisfaction. The company’s customer service department developed a binding estimate with me without any hidden fees and I did not have to pay any additional costs upon arrival at the suburban neighborhood. The three-member crew showed up at the appointed hour and swiftly moved my possessions without damaging anything in the hallways and entrances. They safely packed my modular sofa, glass coffee table and flat TV monitors with bubble wrapping paper and heavy duty plastic shrink wrap. In addition the drivers provided excellent communication throughout the long-haul transportation as they kept me updated with the route and state location. All of our things arrived at the new house completely safe and undamaged. The moving workers were so helpful that they put the heavy furniture in the exact spots we wanted so we did not have to lift anything or hurt our backs. I am truly satisfied with the AVL’s performance and would recommend the company’s services to friends and family.

I cannot praise American Van Lines enough for how perfectly they managed my recent move out of a high-rise condo building. Moving out of an apartment with strict elevator time slots, narrow hallways and limited loading zone parking can be a complete nightmare, but this crew handled it like seasoned pros. They packed the truck tightly and securely, wrapping every piece of furniture securely in heavy quilted blankets. The entire shipment arrived at my destination exactly within the promised delivery window and the crew unloaded everything safely with the same high level of energy and care. Their customer service was outstanding, the price was exactly as quoted and the movers were courteous and hard-working. Five stars all the way!

I had an outstanding experience with American Van Lines, and I especially want to recognize our driver, Edward Utley. Edward went above and beyond to make sure our move stayed on schedule during an extremely tight timeline. We had to have our entire household packed and loaded onto the semi truck in one day because the buyers were moving into our home the very next day. Missing that deadline simply was not an option. Edward kept everything organized, kept the team moving, and made sure all of our household items were carefully packed and loaded by the end of the day. His professionalism, communication, leadership, and work ethic were exceptional. Moving is stressful enough, but knowing Edward was in charge gave us confidence that everything would get done on time—and he delivered. American Van Lines is fortunate to have someone like Edward representing their company. I would absolutely recommend American Van Lines, and if you have the opportunity to have Edward Utley handle your move, you are in excellent hands. As we moved forward throughout the process, it was just continued follow-up on their part. It was very reassuring. The estimate was spot-on. I have never left a negative review before, but after giving American Van Lines every opportunity to address our concerns, I feel obligated to share our experience. While the crews who loaded and unloaded our belongings were professional, courteous, and hardworking, my issues are entirely with American Van Lines as a company. Their customer service was, without question, the worst I've ever experienced. Moving across the country is stressful enough without the company you're paying nearly **$11,000** to making the process significantly harder. Before we paid our deposit, our move coordinator was extremely responsive. Once the deposit was paid, that communication completely disappeared. I called and emailed my move coordinator numerous times and never received a single response. I was also instructed to contact another representative to update our inventory before the move. Again, multiple emails and voicemails went unanswered. Because no one would return our calls or process our inventory changes, everything had to be handled on moving day. The moving crew then had to sit outside our home for nearly **three hours** waiting for approval from American Van Lines before they could begin loading. I eventually had to call customer service myself and complain before anyone addressed the issue. That delay was unfair to both our family and the movers. Communication throughout the entire process was chaotic. Calls to customer service were frequently disconnected, some phone numbers we were given didn't even work, and we repeatedly received conflicting information about our move dates. At one point I was told our pickup would be a full week earlier than expected. Later I was told movers would arrive on Monday, so I rearranged my work schedule and missed an important meeting to be home. No one showed up. Then I was told it would be another day. Ultimately, the company that picked up our belongings arrived on a completely different day that had never been communicated to us. We spent weeks trying to figure out what was actually happening because no one at American Van Lines seemed able to provide accurate information. Another major disappointment was learning that our move was actually handled by **FABRI Distribution**, despite being told during the sales process that American Van Lines was **not** a broker and that American Van Lines would be handling our move. That left us feeling misled. After the move, we submitted concerns and were told an investigation would be conducted. We cooperated fully and waited for the results. We have never received the outcome of that investigation, a follow-up phone call, or even the courtesy of an email.** It honestly feels like the company simply stopped communicating and hoped enough time would pass that we'd give up and not leave a review. The only reason this isn't a one-sentence review is because I want to give credit where it's due. The loading and delivery crews were outstanding. They treated our belongings with care, worked incredibly hard, and were the one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience. Unfortunately, great movers can't make up for poor communication, broken promises, scheduling issues, and a complete lack of accountability from the company managing the move. I cannot recommend American Van Lines based on our experience. If you're considering hiring them, I would strongly encourage you to read the reviews carefully and know that once your deposit is paid, the level of customer service may be very different from what you experienced during the sales process.

The reviews for American Van Lines were good, and when I first communicated with them, they sounded very personable. The rep was very proactive and listened to my needs. He worked very diligently, trying to move the schedule around when there wasn't enough space on the truck and they were going to have to get a second truck. I was trying to get everything coordinated in a very fast method because we had to get out of the house for the closing, and I ended up going with another company that I wasn't as impressed with. I had to make a move. But it wasn't against American Van Lines. He even called me back to let me know he was able to get a truck, and he deserves good kudos because he really tried. I was very impressed because the wrapping was unbelievable. After going through everything, I have not found a single item broken. The price was very fair for the distance of the move and the work they did. They came in, took over, and did everything we asked them to do. It was a four-and-a-half-hour drive easily. They had to move our furniture from the house and then put it into storage. But they were on time. They were there when they told us they'd be there and always stayed in touch with me. They let me know exactly where they were, what they were doing and called in advance. So, I'm tickled about that. People should use them because that would be the smartest decision they would make that day.

I just got transferred to a different branch of the company that I work for and was moving from Des Moines to Virginia. I was trying to find a reputable moving company, and I went through a few that weren't so great. My dad let me know that he used American Van Lines when we moved, 10 years ago now, and he really liked them. They have a lot better reviews online, too. I called them up and the rep was great. I would miss her calls a lot, but she would follow up with emails, which I really appreciated. She would always answer my questions on the same day. I was only moving a studio, and I wasn't taking all of my stuff with me. Two guys showed up, went through their checklist of what I was bringing and what they were leaving behind. It took an hour and a half, and they packaged everything up in front of me and took it right out to the truck. They were great. They explained everything to me and had all their equipment to package my TV to make sure it wouldn't get cracked. They did the same thing with some of my other more fragile stuff. I didn't have anything that I was wanting for that they didn't do. It wasn't the same guys who dropped it off but it was the same environment - they were very friendly. They were also very quick with moving all my stuff off the truck into my storage unit. If anybody asked me if they needed a moving company, I would suggest American Van Lines.
