Which documents do I need to send for my PPM reimbursement?

Gather these documents while you pursue your PPM to your next duty station. Here’s what you’ll need to send in to get reimbursed after you execute your PPM:

  1. Travel Orders. Your status should be marked Ready or Finished and should include memorandums.
  2. Do It Yourself Move Application (DD 2278). Make sure your TO signs it, then sign it yourself before submission after you move.
  3. Travel Claim Worksheet (DD 1315-2). Complete it and sign it after you report to your new duty station. 
  4. Copies of Two Weight Tickets. Mark the first one “Empty” and the second one “Full.” If you received any other services, like packing, include those receipts.
